La escena de baile en Rumania tiene una creciente reputación como una fuente de prosperidad de los DJs y productores talentosos. Uno de los nombres que más se hablan recientemente es Luca M , que cuenta ya con una impresionante serie de producciones en su haber, así como el aumento de demanda de sus habilidades de DJ .

 

 

Parece que en  2013 Luca Madalin -Alexandru, nombre completo de Luca,  está siendo el año dondetoda la atención se centre en él. Su pasión por la música electrónica viene desde una edad temprana,  a los 15 años.

 

Esta pasión se había transformado en sus primeros intentos de hacer música , una habilidad que dominó rápidamente. Luca adquirió sus habilidades de producción a través de la paciencia y la determinación, empezando por el más básico de los equipos. A veces era una empinada cuesta de aprendizaje , pero como su confianza y técnica creció , comenzó a forjar su propio estilo.

 

A partir de 2008 , con lanzamientos en sellos rumanos locales como Sintope Digital y marcas italianas como Italo Business y 303Lovers , no pasó mucho tiempo antes de que sellos más establecidos comenzaron a pedir tracks . Lanzamientos importantes incluyen ' Grumpli ' en Starlight Unlimited, ' Pufarine "en el área del remot e, ' Habarnam ' en Cr2 , ' Alinare ' sobre el VIVa MUSiC de Steve Lawler , " Peak Week " en colaboración con JUST2 el Kit t ball t, y t se EP 'Principle ' en Rawthentic música de Carlo Lio . ' Melilla ' fue incluida en ' Defected in the House: Miami 11 " mezclado por DJ Chus y David Penn. 

 

La producción de Luca ha sido prolífica, con pistas y remixes a través de una amplia selección de sellos. . En esta etapa no tenía pensado convertirse en un DJ, sino dar soporte con sus producciones , aunque era el siguiente paso lógico que pronto dio. Amaba tanto la música que pronto se convirtió en un gran Dj. También ha encontrado tiempo para poner en marcha su propio sello, Pamflet Música, que se convirtió en el hogar de su álbum de debut del artista , ' Pamflet ' , lanzado en 2010. Como DJ y productor, " explica, "cuando ves que la gente disfruta de tu música , se puede decir misión cumplida ! La misión es hacer feliz a la gente . Es el sentimiento más hermoso , y me hace más fuerte y más comprometido con la búsqueda de una manera de hacer que mi música sea aún mejor.

One of the most talked about names t o emerge recent ly is Luca M who has an impressive series of productions to his name already as well as increasing demand for his DJ skills. 2013 looks set to be the year when Luca steps into the spotlight in a major way.

 

Luca Madalin-Alexandru, to use his full name, has had a passion for electronic music from an early age. By the time he was 15, this passion had transformed itself into his first attempts at making music, a skill he quickly mastered. At this stage he had no thoughts about becoming a DJ, but as support for his productions grew, it was the logical next step. It quickly turned into something Luca loved just as much as making music.Luca acquired his production skills through patience and determination starting with the most basic of equipment.

 

At times it was a steep learning curve, but as his confidence and technique grew, he began to forge his own distinctive style. Beginning in 2008 with releases on local Romanian labels such as Sintope Digital, and Italian labels like Italo Business and 303Lovers, it wasn’t long before more established imprints began requesting tracks.

 

Significant releases include ‘Grumpli’ on Starlight Unlimited, ‘Pufarine’ on Area Remot e, ‘Habarnam’ on Cr2, ‘Alinare’ on St eve Lawler’s VIVa MUSiC, ‘Peak Week’ in collaboration with JUST2 on Kit t ball, and t he ‘Principle’ EP on Carlo Lio’s Rawthentic Music. ‘Melilla’ was included on ‘Defected in the House: Miami ‘11’ mixed by DJ Chus and David Penn.In fact, Luca’s output has been nothing short of prolific with tracks and remixes across a wide selection of labels. He has also found time to launch his own label, Pamflet Music, which became the home of his debut artist album, ‘Pamflet’, released in 2010. The title is a play on the word pamphlet reflecting his time as a student; by day he would be studying, and at night laying down beats and basslines. Impressive work from an artist still in his early 20s.So what exactly gives a Luca M track its special qualit y? It ’s a dynamic combinat ion of energy and groove underpinned by a funk-fuelled bassline.

 

This is tech house in the true sense, and the secret behind his popularity with other DJs and clubbers from dedicated house heads through to techno connoisseurs.A good time is guaranteed when Luca is on the decks.

 

“As a DJ and producer,” he explains, “when you see people enjoying your music, you can say mission accomplished! The mission is to make people happy. It’s the most beautiful feeling, and makes me stronger and more committed to finding a way to make my music even better.
