Joven y entusiasta, Gustavo Pereira y Filipe Rodrigues han sido desde muy temprana edad atridos e inspirados por la música en general. Vivir en la también conocida como Ciudad Invicta, Oporto, tuvieron un curso similar y se reunieron en el conocido "Oporto Afterhours oficiales", en Maré Alta, el barco. Este Afterhours se consideró durante 3 años, el más emocionante en Portugal y la marcha estaba totalmente allí. Junto con otros dos amigos que estaban haciendo la programación y contratación de artistas como Tiefschwarz, Charles Webster, Dixon, Robert Owens, François Kevorkian, Jef K y muchos otros. Ambicious, interesado, dedicada a pinchar estos chicos estaban siempre juntos, la práctica, la creación, la exploración de la música electrónica y la mejora de sus habilidades. Filipe tuvo también uno en la tienda de discos más exitosa de Oporto en ese momento y Gustavo era residente y responsable de toda la dirección musical de uno de los clubes más importantes y antiguos de Portugal, Indústria Porto. Artistas como Michael Mayer, Miss Kittin, Laurent Garnier, Tiga, Booka Shade, Ivan Smagghe, Anthony Rother, Nouvelle Vague, Ed Motta, Dj Marky, Ricardo Villalobos, 2manydjs y muchos otros eran sus huéspedes de este Club y sus eventos.

2004 fue el año que fundaron Freshkitos, oficialmente, en el primer sábado de 2007 se organizó una  puesta en escena en   Indústria y fue una maravilla, desde entonces hasta hoy todo ha sido muy rápido, fechas en todo Portugal, fechas fuera de Portugal en clubes como City Hall, Macarena, Kubik, The One (Barcelona), el Acuario, el huevo, Wet Yourself (Londres), Watergate (Berlin), DV1 (Lyon), Weetamix (Geneve), Festival Balaton (Hungría). Hoy en día en Portugal, Freshkitos, son una de las referencias, ya que tocan en todos los eventos y los festivales más importantes como Neopop, Sudoeste, Optimus bombo y otros. Gustavo y Filipe querían recrear la escena underground en Oporto, por lo que hace tres años que decidieron ir a por el siguiente nivel y tienen su propio club llamado Gare Porto. Fue un sueño hecho realidad, pero también es una tarea difícil para ellos ya que no es fácil dirigir un club y tener un calendario completo, Sven Vath, John Digweed, James Holden, Richard Dorfmeister, Marco Carola, Josh Wink, Seth Troxler, Magda, Sebo K, Anja Schneider, Dop, Andre Galluzzi, Gui Boratto, Paul Kalkbrenner, Tiga, 2manydjs, y la enorme lista de otros artistas fueron sus huéspedes en su club y debemos parar ahora de lo contrario se aburrirá, y eso es no es nuestra misión en absoluto.
 

Gustavo también fundó y programó Neopop Festival de Música Electrónica (ex anti-Pop), el festival de música electrónica más importante de Portugal.

Young & entusiastic, Gustavo Pereira and Filipe Rodrigues have been since really early attractted and inspired by music in general. Living in the also known as Invicta city, Oporto, they had a similar course and they met at the well known " Oporto Official Afterhours " , at Maré Alta , the boat. This Afterhours was considered for 3 years , the most exciting one at Portugal and the hype was totally there. Together with two other friends they were doing the programmation and booking artists as Tiefschwarz, Charles Webster, Dixon, Robert Owens, François Kevorkian, Jef K and many others. Ambicious, interested, devoted to djing this guys were always together, practicing, creating, exploring electronic music and improving their skills. Filipe had also one of the most well suceeded record store of Oporto on that time and Gustavo was resident and responsible for all the musical direction of one of the most important and oldest clubs in Portugal, Indústria Porto. Artists like Michael Mayer, Miss Kittin, Laurent Garnier, Tiga, Booka Shade, Ivan Smagghe, Anthony Rother, Nouvelle Vague, Ed Motta, Dj Marky, Ricardo Villalobos, 2manydjs and many other were his guests for this Club and his events.

2004 was the year were Freshkitos started , officially, in the first saturday of 2007 they hosted a all night set at Indústria and it was a blast, since then till today it was really fast, dates all around Portugal, dates outside Portugal in clubs like City Hall , Macarena, Kubik, The One ( Barcelona ) , Aquarium, The Egg, Wet Yourself ( London ) , Watergate ( Berlin ), Dv1 ( Lyon ), Weetamix ( Geneve ), Balaton Festival ( Hungary ) . Nowadays in Portugal, Freshkitos, are one of the references as they play all the main events and the most important festivals like Neopop, Sudoeste, Optimus Hype, and others. Gustavo and Filipe wanted to re-create the underground scene in Oporto, so three years ago they decided to go for the next level and have their own  club called Gare Porto. It was a dream come true but also a hard task for them as it´s not easy to handle a club and have a full schedule, Sven Vath, John Digweed, James Holden, Richard Dorfmeister, Marco Carola, Josh Wink, Seth Troxler, Magda, Sebo K, Anja Schneider, Dop, Andre Galluzzi, Gui Boratto, Paul Kalkbrenner, Tiga, 2manydjs, and huge list of other artists were their guests at their club and we should stop now otherwise you will be bored, and that´s not our mission at all.
Gustavo also founded and programms Neopop Electronic Music Festival ( ex Anti-Pop ) , the most important electronic music festival in Portugal.
